Describe Internship:

We’re looking for a rock star public relations student or recent graduate for a paid PR agency internship in our Dallas office. The position offers hands-on communications and marketing experience in a supportive and fun work environment.

The time commitment is 10-20 hours per week for 12-15 weeks, depending on candidate availability, and could lead to a full-time opportunity. Our team operates on a hybrid remote/in-person structure. The intern would be required to spend at least 50% of the time in the office to gain the best possible learning experience.

Apply Now – Axia Public Relations Scholarship

Axia Public Relations established the Axia Public Relations Scholarship to assist outstanding college students with financial needs in their pursuit of a public relations career.

The deadline to apply is May 31.

The PRSA Foundation awards Axia’s scholarship to students who:

1. Demonstrate financial need.

2. Demonstrate experience and passion for public relations.

3. Demonstrate a dedication to professional ethics and excellence.

The PRSA Foundation will make payment directly to the winner’s university for use on his or her behalf; payment can only be used to directly fund the winner’s educational pursuits.

Scholarship Requirements:

1. Candidates must be juniors or seniors in good academic standing at accredited colleges or universities.

CCPA Alumna Manages NFL Teams’ Social Media Channels

Sana Merchant-Rupani

When Sana Merchant-Rupani graduated from SMU with degrees in CCPA and Sports Management, she dreamed of starting her professional journey in New York City. Even though her first full-time job was in Dallas working for public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, she quickly transferred to the firm’s NYC office.

“It was incredible because I got to experience not only a lot of the public affairs clients they had based out of Texas but also a lot of their brand and consumer clients,” Sana said.

After Burson-Marsteller, Sana worked for Empire State Realty Trust in their digital marketing and public relations department. There she helped manage social media for the company’s U.S. and
