The Warren Center: The Warren Center is a nonprofit agency providing professional evaluations, therapy services and support to children with developmental delays and disabilities. The center serves over 1,000 children each week as well as their families. Services include speech, occupational and physical therapy; developmental services; and nutrition as well as family education and support. The Early Childhood Intervention Program serves the entire northern half of Dallas County.
SMU Abroad is now offering virtual abroad internships. This six-week SMU Virtual Abroad internship program gives you the opportunity to gain international work experience and develop global professional competencies. Placements with organizations in Aix-en-Provence, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Dublin, Florence, London, Shanghai, and Sydney are available in English as well as the local language. Our abroad partners have an extensive network that enables them to place students in internships that directly correlate with your personal interests and professional goals.
In addition to the 120-hour internship placement, you will be enrolled in a 3 credit hour internship course. Dates depend on your placement. There are no fees for this program, you ONLY pay SMU tuition for the 3 credit hours.
