Our beloved Dr. Sandra Duhé is an inspiration to all who meet her, and she has just given the SMU community even more reasons for their admiration.
Coveted “M” Award
On Monday, April 15th at the Hilltop Excellence Awards, Duhé received the prestigious “M” Award, the most highly prized award given to students, faculty, and staff on the SMU campus. It is awarded to a member of the University who had tirelessly devoted themselves, over many years, to bettering our campus, students, and the world.
Willis M. Tate Award
That same evening she was given the Willis M. Tate Award recognizing the significant contributions she has made as both a faculty member and chair of the CCPA department.
Duhé’s efforts to support our community, faculty and CCPA students is unparalleled. She is more than deserving of these awards, as she serves as a role model to all. Balancing personal life as a Faculty-in-Residence in Cockrell McIntosh on campus while also being an esteemed professor, the Chair of CCPA, and an iconic Public Relations professional, Duhé constantly encourages everyone to push themselves to their fullest potential and leads by example. Not to mention her endless degrees.
Congratulations, Dr. Duhé! We are so proud of your accomplishments and lucky to have you as our fearless CCPA leader.
