Fall

Now that Fall is in full swing and Thanksgiving is around the corner, Ted E. Bear would like to share a few thoughts.

Take a break from classes and assignments and get outside!  The air is fresh and crisp and it is a good time to kick up your heels (or roll on your back in the leaves)!

Nature helps defuse stress, clear one’s mind, and is a healthy break from the rigors of academic life!  At this point in the semester, it is important to step away, even if it is for a quick run, taking a 4- legged or 2 -legged friend for a walk or enjoying a coffee outside.

Fall provides an extra hour so whether it is sleeping, having fun, or studying, make sure to take full advantage. It is also the time to indulge in such seasonal treats as apple cider, pumpkin spice lattes, cider donuts, and football (none of which I am allowed to have)!

Fall

Before the pressure of finals and the holidays hit, pause and reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life. As a Great Pyrenees Mountain dog, I am grateful that the 90 degree days are behind us. Now, I can romp and wrestle outside for hours!

Take advantage of the changing leaves of Fall. Come give me a “Bear Hug” if you see me on campus!
