Lauren is a CCPA senior majoring in Public Relations and Strategic Communications with a minor in Advertising. She is from Pasadena, CA.

This fall, Lauren will continue her education in the field by pursuing a Masters of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising at USC Annenberg. She hopes to pursue a career in public relations that is honest and motivating to society. “I would love to do one day work for a major beauty company because I believe that there is a lot of tension surrounding the message behind beauty companies and I hope to shape this message to be one that encourages natural and honest beauty in all women and not one that makes us feel marginalized, “ she said.
When she is not busy with schoolwork, Lauren loves to take pilates classes with friends, walk the Katy Trail, try new Dallas restaurants and work on her latest painting project. She hopes to travel to London soon since her London study abroad program was canceled due to the pandemic. After graduating, Lauren will miss lunches on the Dallas Hall lawn with her friends and all the amazing CCPA teachers that have helped to shape the inquisitive and driven individual she is.
Lauren is delighted to be a CCPA fellowship this spring. “I look forward to working with my amazing peers and continuing to explore my passion for the communications market. I hope to add value to this program and my SMU community,” she said.
