Summer greetings, CCPA!

Sandra Duhe, CCPA chair

I hope this note finds you well and enjoying what’s left of our summer break. Campus will be open this fall, but prepare yourselves for a very different environment. Masks, social distancing, and fewer (or highly modified) events are just some of the changes you’ll see.

You’ve likely noticed by now that most of our CCPA classes will be online. Why? Because faculty we adore require additional accommodations to safeguard their health and that of those they care for. Our hope is that courses designated as “remote” will still allow you to occasionally meet in person. We’re working on making that option available, but there are a lot of moving parts to manage and not all of them are in our direct control.

What a communication case study we’re living in! Hang in there. Reach out with questions. Know we care for and miss you. And rest assured, no matter what, you’re going to have a rewarding, enjoyable semester like CCPA is known to deliver.

Fall is going to be different, but it will still be great.

All my best to you and yours,
Dr. Duhé
