Alex Brody, SMU CCPA Summer Fellow

Meet your summer CCPA Fellow, Alex Brody.

Alex is a rising senior double majoring in sports management and public relations with a minor in history. He grew up in Dallas, Texas but went to high school in Pebble Beach, California and then moved back to Dallas upon graduating from high school.

Currently, Alex works as a Texas Rangers College Brand ambassador and interns with SportStars. During the school year, Alex works in the Hegi Career Center in Hughes Trigg serving as a Peer Consultant. His previous experience includes interning for Northern Texas PGA and serving as the recruitment chair for two years for his fraternity Sigma Nu (Iota Theta).

After graduating at SMU, Alex hopes to work in a sports agency, sports consulting firm or for a professional team. His goal is to work as a sports agent representing clients in either professional football, basketball and or hockey.

In his free time, Alex enjoys listening to music, ranging from classic rock to modern hip hop and everything in between, as well as watching movies and staying active.

“I am excited to work as a CCPA fellow this summer and ready to provide useful and insightful content for our viewers.” says Alex.

Watch for stories about places to eat around campus, tips for students entering CCPA, insights into CCPA faculty, and we’re sure he will slip a sports story or two in there.

Welcome to the CCPA Fellows team, Alex.
